Pzena receives ’Highly Recommended’ rating from Lonsec Research
Founded in 1996, the New York-based, classic value manager, Pzena Investment Management is responsible for US$64bn of assets under management, globally. Over the past 16 years, Pzena has established a strong presence in the Australian and New Zealand institutional markets with currently over A$6bn of assets under management.
Pzena has expanded its presence and resources in Australia to offer its capabilities in the wholesale wealth management channels, including to managed accounts, and their advisors, and approved product lists for major wealth management firms. For a second time, Lonsec’s “Highly Recommended” rating of the two funds Pzena offers in Australia, Global Focused Value and Emerging Markets Value has marked an important step along this journey for our firm.
Over its 28- year history, Pzena has consistently applied its classic value philosophy across a range of equity capabilities, identifying good companies which are out of favour with investors, which are suffering temporary issues or challenges. Pzena’s 30-person investment team is responsible for conducting deep-dive investment analysis to establish the normalised earnings power for such companies that screen in the cheapest quintile of our various investment universes.
